About the role
We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage the company’s store operations on construction sites. The role ensures that all store procedures are followed, inventories are accurate, and materials move efficiently between sites.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the company’s store procedures and conduct weekly site store inspections.
- Update store bin cards and maintain daily records of SRBDs/SIDBs.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department to verify purchase orders before new purchases.
- Issue store transfer vouchers for materials moving between sites.
- Verify that received materials are covered by material requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Record and obtain signatures for tools on loan to authorized recipients.
- Ensure store issues are authorized with proper receipt signatures.
- Issue gate passes for materials leaving or entering stores.
- Maintain accurate monthly store inventory.
- Update market prices on a quarterly basis.
- Train other storekeepers on the store computerization system.
Required profile
- University degree, preferably in Commerce, Materials, or Stores Management.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the construction sector.
- Gulf region experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and database applications.
