Supply Chain Manager – Lubricants Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, strategic sourcing and inventory planning for a leading lubricant manufacturing plant in Doha, Qatar. The role ensures continuous supply of base oils, additives and packaging materials while optimizing costs and stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with production targets.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations and vendor performance evaluations.
• Manage sourcing of lubricant base oils (Group I‑V) and additive packages.
• Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting and stock optimisation across the plant.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations and supply risks to mitigate disruptions.
• Coordinate international import/export processes and shipping documentation.
• Utilise SAP and procurement analytics to drive efficiency and reporting.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of procurement and supply chain experience in lubricant blending, petrochemical or specialty chemical manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Supply Chain Management or related field; professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, APICS/CSCP) preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.
• Proven track record in supplier management, contract negotiation and cost‑saving initiatives.
