QHSE Lead Auditor – Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a highly skilled QHSE Lead Auditor to conduct professional audits of quality, health, safety and environmental management systems. The role supports integrated management system (IMS) audits and contributes to additional frameworks such as ISMS and BCMS.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report audits in line with ISO 19011, BV Management System and BVC MER Operations Manual.
• Maintain strict adherence to BV Code of Ethics, confidentiality requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Stay current with regulatory changes, emerging technologies and scheme developments.
• Coordinate audit activities with the audit team leader and technical teams, ensuring alignment with LTO requirements.
• Identify and share potential business leads with the sales team.
• Protect company assets and follow all BV employment terms and policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium or large industrial environment, with hands‑on exposure to planning, production, QA/QC, maintenance or project management.
• At least 2 years of direct experience auditing QMS, EMS or OHSAS schemes; first, second or third‑party audit experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ISO 19011 auditing methodology.
• Knowledge of QMS, EMS, OHSAS, ISMS and BCMS standards.
• Ability to manage the full audit cycle from planning through reporting.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills for audit findings.
