Water Operator Supervisor

About the role

The Water Operator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of water treatment and distribution systems at Al Udeid Air Base. The role ensures safe, reliable water service for base personnel while complying with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of water treatment and distribution systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and longevity.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and technical guidance to operators and support staff.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain records and assist with budgeting and resource planning.
• Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot failures and coordinate repairs.
• Conduct training sessions to maintain team competency and promote best practices.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class III Water System Operations Certification.
• Minimum 4 years water system operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License; U.S. Passport preferred.
• Ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment policy and obtain a Qatar residency visa.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
