Waver – Quad Bike Operations for Tourism Project

About the role

We are looking for motivated Wavers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a high‑profile tourism project that features quad bike activities in Qatar. The role involves directing riders, managing queues and supporting overall site safety.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and signal quad bike riders at designated operational points using hand signals, flags or approved methods.
• Maintain safe separation between quad bikes, pedestrians and other vehicles.
• Support safe entry, exit, queuing and movement within activity areas.
• Provide basic directions and guidance to visitors and riders.
• Coordinate closely with Traffic Control, Marshalls, HSE and operational teams.
• Identify and immediately report unsafe behaviour, hazards or incidents.
• Assist with crowd and queue management during busy periods.
• Follow all site safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Waver, Traffic Marshal, Flagman, Banksman, Event Marshal, Parking Marshal, Security Officer or similar role preferred.
• Good awareness of traffic and pedestrian safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Confident working around moving vehicles/quad bikes and the public.
• Qatar/GCC experience is advantageous.
• Available for shift‑based operations.
