Accountant (Odoo ERP & Inventory Management)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The role focuses on accurate bookkeeping in Odoo ERP, inventory control, and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and review daily accounting transactions in Odoo, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
• Identify and resolve errors, missing information, or unusual entries in the accounting system.
• Maintain customer and supplier account reconciliations and support discrepancy investigations.
• Monitor inventory movements (purchases, sales, transfers, returns, adjustments) in Odoo and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Assist with monthly physical stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and month‑end stock closing.
• Prepare regular accounting and inventory reports, extract financial data from Odoo, and support audit requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, retail, and commercial teams to address inventory discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a retail, trading, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and month‑end closing processes.
• Experience with Odoo ERP is highly desirable.
