Adult Military & Family Life Counselor (Remote, Qatar)

About the role

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join its Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team supporting U.S. service members and families in Qatar. The position is remote until travel to the Middle East becomes possible and requires flexibility for overnight shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face counseling to service members, spouses, and families (individual, couple, and family sessions).
• Observe, participate in, and coach service members and families during activities, modeling effective behavior‑management techniques.
• Deliver presentations and outreach at military‑connect events for service members, families, and leadership.
• Promote creativity and positivity using approved counseling materials.
• Build rapport by attending installation and community events and supporting transition adjustments such as new school enrollment.

Required profile

• Current license as a behavioral health professional (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist).
• Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to travel to the Middle East when required.
• Eligibility for additional clearances when supporting SOCOM personnel.
