Analyzer Technician

About the role

The Analyzer Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and engineering of on‑line analyzers and related equipment in an oil & gas environment. The role works under the direction of the resident engineer and follows strict health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, preventive and predictive maintenance, and major shutdown work on a wide range of on‑line analyzers.
• Perform troubleshooting, verification tests and test runs after maintenance activities.
• Execute equipment and system modifications as instructed by the resident engineer.
• Maintain a detailed maintenance logbook documenting work performed, findings and equipment conditions.

Required profile

• 3‑year full‑time Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation.
• Minimum 6 years of experience maintaining on‑line analyzers in the oil & gas industry.

Required skills

• Installation and commissioning of on‑line analyzers.
• Predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of instrumentation equipment.
• Understanding of QHSE standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.
