Arabic Teacher – IB Programme (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Arabic teacher to join our academic team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Arabic B and Arabic AB curricula, fostering a stimulating and respectful learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that align with IB Arabic B and AB syllabi.
• Set high expectations, inspire motivation, and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Provide a safe, inclusive classroom where mutual respect is paramount.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
• Design and assign homework and out‑of‑class activities to reinforce learning.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs, high ability, or English as an additional language.
• Embed IB pedagogy in lesson planning and delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the IB Arabic B and Arabic AB curricula.
• Ability to set ambitious goals and maintain high academic standards.
• Commitment to fostering a respectful and supportive classroom culture.
• Experience in differentiating instruction to accommodate varied learning needs.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Arabic language instruction at secondary level.
• Familiarity with IB teaching frameworks and assessment methods.
