Assistant Manager – Cards & Retail Payment Products

About the role

The incumbent will support the Assistant Vice President of International Cards and Retail Payment Acceptance in driving the bank's international card and payment product portfolio. The focus is on expanding market share, increasing transaction volume and profitability while ensuring compliance with QNB policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the AVP in developing and implementing strategies to achieve volume and profit targets.
• Maintain and enforce QNB policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across all operating countries.
• Identify and acquire new market opportunities where QNB has a presence.
• Grow existing products in local markets and adapt them for international rollout.
• Innovate new product features to meet merchant demand in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor product performance, prepare analytical reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months of experience in cards, retail payments or related financial products.
• Strong understanding of the international payment industry and market dynamics.
• Ability to work in a Qatarization environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience in sensitivity analysis and profitability modelling.
