Assistant Manager Logistics Training

About the role

Talabat is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Logistics Training function. You will shape the learning journey for our rider fleet, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the training team and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, performance reviews and manager consultations.
• Design and implement individualized and group training plans using mentoring, coaching, on‑the‑job training, e‑learning, workshops and simulations.
• Conduct induction and orientation sessions for new hires and continuously monitor training effectiveness, ROI and reporting.
• Manage the training budget and stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices.
• Oversee the hiring process for riders, develop the monthly supply model and train the hiring team on brief interviews and skill assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a trainer with a track record of designing successful programs.
• Familiarity with both traditional and modern training methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Strong writing, record‑keeping and analytical skills.
• Good database handling capability.
• Arabic and Hindi/Urdu language skills are a plus.
