Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role

Join voco Doha Central as an Assistant Marketing Manager and help bring the brand to life through creative campaigns, strategic thinking, and storytelling. You will support brand awareness, demand generation, and commercial objectives for this pre‑opening hotel in the heart of Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the hotel’s marketing and communication strategy.
• Create and coordinate campaigns across digital, social media, print, and partnership channels.
• Manage content creation for social platforms, website updates, photography, and promotional materials.
• Ensure brand consistency with IHG and voco standards.
• Assist in planning and executing launch activities, events, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal departments, agencies, media partners, and suppliers.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare ROI reports.
• Lead public‑relations activities, media visits, influencer partnerships, and community engagement.
• Identify market trends and opportunities to strengthen positioning.
• Manage marketing assets, collateral, and promotional materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a similar role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content marketing and digital advertising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with graphic design, content creation, photography or video editing is an advantage.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities.
• Creative mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
