Assistant Vice President, Data Science

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Data Science will lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives across QNB. Working closely with business and operational leaders, the role translates complex data challenges into strategic insights and actionable recommendations, leveraging machine learning, large language models, and visual analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute hypothesis‑driven analyses, machine‑learning projects, and GenAI solutions to address business problems.
• Implement and monitor KPIs and KRIs for Data & AI solutions, measuring impact on performance and risk.
• Promote cost‑effective data analytics and AI delivery, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets.
• Coordinate project approvals with the EVP Data & Analytics for capital and operating expenditures.
• Contribute to the execution of QNB’s overall Data & Analytics strategy.
• Communicate data‑driven insights and AI capabilities to senior leadership to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading data‑science initiatives within a large, regulated organization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate analytical results into strategic recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and managing cross‑functional projects.
