Assistant Vice President – Reporting and Taxation

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Reporting and Taxation will lead tax processing and reporting activities for QNB’s Asset Management and Investment Services divisions. The role ensures accurate financial statements, supports internal and external audits, and maintains comprehensive records of portfolio fund management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax processing and respond to department inquiries related to asset management, financial statements, and audits.
• Develop business budgets, control operating costs, and contribute to sales income through accounting and administration services.
• Ensure timely and accurate disclosure of information to stakeholders, complying with local procedures, client, and tax authority requirements.
• Supervise the delivery of regular tax and other reports, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Handle queries from fund managers, brokers, market participants, internal departments, and investors with speed and quality.
• Implement KPIs and best practices for reporting and taxation, promoting cost efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax reporting, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
• Strong understanding of asset management and investment services operations.
• Ability to develop budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
