Automotive Service Technician

About the role

The Technician will perform dealership service on customer vehicles, ensuring high quality, productivity, and technical efficiency. The role is essential for generating workshop revenue by maintaining vehicles to company standards and minimizing repeat repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute service repairs according to the repair order schedule.
• Report additional required work with cost estimates.
• Maintain check sheets, log sheets, and tool/equipment standards in the assigned bay.
• Handle special tools properly and keep the work bay tidy.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues to achieve zero repeat repairs.
• Request assistance from the Service Supervisor when needed.
• Conduct final inspections following SOPs.
• Meet productivity and efficiency targets.
• Punch in and out accurately to record booking hours.
• Follow all safety and procedural guidelines, including fire safety measures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive service or workshop environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the Service Supervisor.
