About the role
The Avionics Mechanic performs helicopter maintenance as directed by a Licensed Engineer and the Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary. The position is based in Doha, Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine helicopter maintenance tasks.
- Liaise on solutions for defect rectification.
- Inform and advise the Licensed Engineer and the Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary.
- Ensure quality, company procedures and safety precautions are followed.
- Maintain documentation standards and good housekeeping.
- Carry out helicopter handling and support special projects.
- Support Licensed Engineers in their duties.
Required profile
- Diploma or associate degree or equivalent.
- Experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry.
- Solid aviation knowledge, technical and non-technical aviation training.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in demanding operational environments.
