About the role

The Avionics Mechanic performs helicopter maintenance as directed by a Licensed Engineer and the Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary. The position is based in Doha, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine helicopter maintenance tasks.
Liaise on solutions for defect rectification.
Inform and advise the Licensed Engineer and the Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary.
Ensure quality, company procedures and safety precautions are followed.
Maintain documentation standards and good housekeeping.
Carry out helicopter handling and support special projects.
Support Licensed Engineers in their duties.

Required profile

Diploma or associate degree or equivalent.
Experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry.
Solid aviation knowledge, technical and non-technical aviation training.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Good communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in demanding operational environments.
