Barista at Luxury Lounge

About the role

The Barista will join the distinguished Sarab Lounge at The St. Regis Doha, delivering premium coffee and beverage service to discerning guests. This full‑time position involves opening and closing duties, cash handling, and maintaining a polished, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, prepare coffee and food items, and manage cash register transactions.
• Maintain work areas, stock supplies, and ensure coffee equipment is operated at appropriate times.
• Clean dishes, utensils, tables, and equipment throughout the shift and handle bank reconciliation at shift end.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
• Professional appearance, ability to work extended periods standing or walking.
• Capability to lift and move items up to 25 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Basic cash handling and banking procedures.
• Ability to operate coffee makers and related equipment safely.
