Barista

About the role

The Barista will deliver high‑quality coffee and beverage service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests at The Ritz‑Carlton, Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, prepare coffee and food items, and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain workstations, stock supplies, and ensure appliances are operated at appropriate times.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables, clean dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift.
• Count cash at shift end, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure receipts.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including uniform standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
• Cash handling and basic register operation.
• Ability to operate coffee making equipment.
