Bartender

About the role

The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering excellent customer service. The role covers keeping the bar clean, managing stock, following hygiene and food safety standards, and making sure guests receive prompt and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails and other drinks according to standard recipes.
• Take guest orders accurately and recommend beverages when needed.
• Keep the bar counter, equipment, glassware and surroundings clean and hygienic.
• Monitor stock levels and help with inventory, replenishment and storage.
• Ensure correct portioning, presentation and quality of all drinks served.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and bar safety procedures, and responsible beverage service policies.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and coordinate with service and kitchen teams.
• Clean, maintain and store bar equipment after use.

Required profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Bartender, preferably in 4 or 5-star hotels, restaurants or lounges.
• Experience in stock handling, drink preparation and bar hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with good spoken English.
• Good grooming, personal hygiene and professional attitude; able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Qatar ID and a valid Food Handler Certificate.
