Business Development Specialist

About the role

JAR Accounting & Auditing is seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand its portfolio of audit, accounting, tax, advisory, and consultancy services across Qatar. The successful candidate will leverage an extensive network of government and semi‑government contacts to generate new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for audit, accounting, tax, advisory, and consultancy services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, semi‑government entities, private companies, and industry decision‑makers.
• Approach potential clients, present JAR’s service offering, and manage the sales pipeline.
• Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and client communications.
• Support senior management in shaping business strategies and exploring market opportunities.
• Represent the firm at meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client meetings, and follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong network within Qatari government, semi‑government entities, and major industries.
• Proven experience in business development within an audit, accounting, advisory, consultancy, or professional services firm.
• Good understanding of audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Professional appearance and confidence representing the firm.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close business deals.
• Valid Qatar driving licence preferred.
