Business Finance Analyst (Superfunctions)

About the role

Snoonu, Qatar’s home‑grown Super App, is looking for a Business Finance Analyst – Superfunctions to partner with functional leaders across multiple markets. You will support cost management, headcount governance and financial planning, providing insights that drive disciplined investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for Superfunctions across markets.
• Analyze operating expenses, identify risks, opportunities and drivers of variance.
• Track headcount performance, hiring plans, vacancies and personnel cost forecasting.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure spending aligns with approved budgets and priorities.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses and insights on overhead and workforce costs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers and reporting tools to monitor cost performance.
• Support business cases and investment evaluations for new roles and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy across financial models, headcount reports and planning systems.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities while supporting business growth.
• Collaborate with People & Culture and Finance teams to improve workforce planning and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost management and variance analysis.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with large, multi‑market datasets.
• Effective communication skills and confidence working with cross‑functional teams.
• Growth mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and recommending solutions.
