Control and Resources Analyst

About the role

East West Digital (EWD) in Doha is looking for a Control & Resources Analyst to support business control, management reporting, resource utilization, ERP data extraction and HR process monitoring. The role reports to the Control & Resources Manager (Financial Controller) and combines accounting, budgeting and analytical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and audit analytical models for budget tracking, variance analysis and operational forecasting using advanced Excel features.
• Perform daily and monthly accounting reconciliations, ledger cross‑checks and variance reporting across SAP and lightweight ERP systems (Odoo, Zoho Books, NetSuite).
• Extract and validate financial and operational data from ERP environments, support ERP evaluation and provide user feedback.
• Track team capacity, project time logging and utilization rates; assist with HR process documentation and compliance with Qatar labour regulations.
• Compile internal reporting packages and maintain the corporate documentation repository for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of finance, operations or business‑control experience, preferably within Qatar.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and at least one lightweight ERP (Odoo, Zoho Books, NetSuite, Xero).
• Strong background in accounting, budgeting and resource management in startup or scale‑up environments.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, pivot tables).
• ERP systems: SAP, Odoo, Zoho Books, NetSuite.
• Agentic AI or automation tools for data extraction and reporting.
