Business Tax Internship – Qatar

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a motivated intern to join its Business Tax team in Qatar. You will gain hands‑on experience with Qatar income tax regulations, support senior professionals, and contribute to client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and related processes.
• Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and related documentation.
• Research Qatar tax laws, international tax treaties, and regulatory updates.
• Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, and related reports.
• Collaborate with senior tax professionals to analyse financial statements for tax implications.
• Support responses to tax authority audits.
• Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local regulations.
• Research tax regimes in other jurisdictions where clients operate and draft client reports under supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Qatari national (as indicated in the title).
