Card Sales Acquisition Specialist (Teleagent)

About the role

The Card Sales Acquisition Specialist (Teleagent) is responsible for driving credit card acquisition through outbound and inbound telephone campaigns. You will work in a highly regulated environment, following strict scripts and compliance controls to ensure a high conversion rate and quality sales interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outbound and inbound telesales campaigns to meet monthly card sales targets.
• Convert bank‑provided leads and pre‑approved prospects into activated cards while improving lead‑to‑sale conversion.
• Apply approved sales scripts and product propositions to ensure compliant selling and minimise mis‑selling incidents.
• Prioritise outreach using propensity models and lead lists to maximise productivity per agent.
• Educate customers on card features, benefits, fees and usage to boost activation within 30 days.
• Capture accurate customer information and maintain data quality in CRM/sales systems.
• Adhere to governance controls such as call recording, quality checks and policy compliance to achieve 100% audit compliance.

Required profile

• Knowledge of the credit card acquisition lifecycle (lead → sale → activation).
• Understanding of regulated sales environments and mis‑selling prevention.
• Familiarity with contact‑centre operations, call handling and CRM usage.
• Experience selling regulated financial products via phone is preferred.

Required skills

• CRM usage for data entry and hygiene.
