Cargo Capacity & Revenue Optimization Manager

About the role

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a senior professional to lead network capacity and revenue optimization across its global flight network. Based in Doha, you will drive cargo profitability by balancing long‑term customer allocations with dynamic free‑sales capacity and managing overbooking risk.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic inventory controls to maximize cargo margins on passenger belly‑hold and dedicated freighter operations.
• Analyze no‑show trends, demand forecasts, and market conditions to set calibrated overbooking levels.
• Establish performance review frameworks to monitor route profitability, flow trends, and resolve operational constraints.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment sessions with commercial, ground, and network planning teams.
• Manage, mentor, and up‑skill a team of inventory specialists and analysts.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on strategic initiatives, leveraging BI tools to advance digitalization and process optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in airline cargo, air freight, or aviation supply‑chain operations.
• Proven expertise in cargo revenue management, network margin optimization, and dynamic capacity allocation.
• Strong quantitative analysis background and experience driving cross‑functional projects.
• Fluent professional English with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
