Civil 3D BIM Modeler

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil 3D BIM Modeler to join its Qatar team. You will apply advanced Civil 3D and BIM expertise to create detailed 3D models for stormwater drainage and wet utility systems, supporting the delivery of accurate, constructible designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain coordinated 3D models for water mains, sewer networks, stormwater drainage, retention systems, and related structures such as manholes, chambers, and culverts.
• Produce Civil 3D drawings that align with project specifications and client standards.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, project managers, BIM coordinators, and other discipline modelers to ensure design intent and multidisciplinary integration.
• Participate in coordination and review meetings, providing model‑based inputs and conducting quality checks.
• Create alignments, profiles, corridors, and manage data shortcuts as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Autodesk Civil 3D BIM modelling for civil works, focusing on wet utilities and stormwater drainage.
• Proven track record on infrastructure projects involving water, sewer, or stormwater networks.

Required skills

• Autodesk Civil 3D
• AutoCAD (advanced drafting and detailing)
• Navisworks Manage for model review and clash detection
