About the role
The Clinical Nurse provides safe and effective direct care for pediatric general surgery patients, overseeing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in line with Sidra standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Document care, discharge planning and family education promptly according to Sidra documentation standards.
- Participate in supervision, orientation and training of staff, acting as a preceptor or mentor.
- Escalate clinical issues through the appropriate chain of command and ensure patient safety.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid professional nursing license.
- At least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in pediatric general surgery or a related specialty.
- Compliance with licensure and regulatory requirements, including life‑support certifications and CPD.
Required skills
- Effective communication in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative abilities.
