About the role
A Pullman hotel in Doha, part of the Accor network, is looking for a Commis 1 for its butchery. The role supports the kitchen team with meat preparation and keeps the butchery area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, cutting, trimming and portioning meats and poultry according to kitchen standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of meat products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery area in line with food safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team with daily mise en place and production needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a butchery or kitchen environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Good English communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and long hours on foot.
