About the role
The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and organize food items according to basic preparation, presentation, and preservation standards.
- Maintain personal hygiene and follow hygiene and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, receive constructive criticism, and execute orders promptly.
- Multi‑task and handle multiple orders simultaneously while staying calm.
Required profile
- High school degree.
- Previous experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations.
- Passion for teamwork and excellent guest service.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety procedures.
