Community Order Support (COS) Officer

About the role

V2X is seeking an experienced Community Order Support (COS) Officer to provide unarmed security services across mobile, roving, and static patrols. The role involves first‑response actions, incident documentation, and protecting personnel and assets in both domestic and overseas environments, including deployments to Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct static, foot, and vehicle patrols to maintain order and safety.
• Respond promptly to calls for service and emergency situations.
• Record and report incidents accurately.
• Provide unarmed protection and safety services for personnel and resources.
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate assigned vehicles safely.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of security, law‑enforcement, or military experience.
• U.S. citizenship, at least 21 years old, and fluent in English.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to pass medical, physical fitness, drug, and psychological tests.
• Willingness to work six 12‑hour shifts per week, including day or night rotations, and to deploy to Qatar for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
