Compliance Officer – Early Career

About the role

A leading organization in Qatar is looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Officer to support the implementation of its compliance framework. This position is ideal for an early‑career professional with strong analytical skills, sound judgment and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the compliance framework, annual monitoring plan, policies, procedures and controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews and control testing to assess adherence to laws, regulations, codes of conduct and internal requirements.
• Maintain accurate compliance registers covering obligations, conflicts of interest, gifts, hospitality, breaches, investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare compliance reports, risk observations, findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Provide practical guidance to employees on compliance requirements, internal policies, ethical conduct and escalation channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, internal audit, legal, governance or another control function.
• Professional certification or training in Compliance, AML/CFT, Ethics, Risk or Data Protection (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is advantageous.
