Legal Consultant

About the role

The Legal Consultant will provide expert legal advice and assistance on commercial, civil and regulatory matters. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Doha, Qatar, working closely with partners and other lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cases and conduct legal research on Qatari laws and regulations.
• Draft, review and structure contracts, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal opinions and support litigation and dispute‑resolution activities.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend practical solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with partners, attend client meetings and contribute to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in law with proven experience handling diverse legal issues and understanding Qatari legal frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability in legal document preparation, including drafting and reviewing contracts and pleadings.
• Experience providing clear, practical legal advice to clients in complex matters.
• Relevant university degree in law (LLB or equivalent); postgraduate qualifications are an asset.
• Bar admission or eligibility to practice law in Qatar or another recognized jurisdiction is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
• High ethical standards, professional integrity and commitment to client service.
