Construction Superintendent – Scaffolding (Offshore Compression)

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent specialised in scaffolding for offshore compression projects in Qatar. The role is on‑site, six days a week, and involves overseeing both onshore and offshore scaffolding activities to ensure safety, compliance and schedule performance.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and monitor the ScafTag system and EPC contractor’s scaffolding programme for compliance with project standards.
• Provide input to pre‑qualification, training assessment and competency management of scaffolding subcontractors.
• Support project teams with risk screening, formal risk assessments and incident investigations related to scaffolding.
• Act as the on‑shore focal point for resolving scaffolding issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong SHE&S networks and communication protocols across all contracting levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of diversified oil and gas operations experience, including offshore projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex engineered scaffolding structures.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment and security (SHES) standards.
