Contract Specialist

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Contract Specialist in Doha. The role advises end-users and stakeholders on procurement procedures and contracts, develops standard contract templates, manages the tender and contract award process and carries out risk analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Advise end-users and stakeholders on procurement procedures and contracts, and answer queries on contractual provisions
• Develop and implement standard contract and agreement templates for the services the organization needs
• Review scope of work, set pricing structures, draft contractual conditions and ensure compliance with standard policies and procedures
• Recommend strategies to streamline procurement and contracting, and set bid-evaluation criteria with stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage the bid evaluation, including bidder qualifications, technical and commercial submissions, and recommend awards or negotiations
• Prepare Working Group and Tender Committee submissions in Arabic
• Analyze risks and help departments develop mitigation approaches
• Manage the contract award process, prepare award correspondence, check securities, bonds and insurance policies, and finalize contract documents for ratification
• Review existing contracts and recommend revisions, and carry out other duties assigned by the manager
