About the role
Advises and supports control systems engineering throughout EPC and startup phases, ensuring safety, operability, reliability and maintainability for QatarEnergy LNG projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide control systems engineering support including design reviews, studies, failure analysis and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement surveillance and administration programs for critical control systems to achieve high reliability, availability and cyber security.
- Supervise contractors, consultants and service providers and guide less‑experienced engineers.
- Support high‑risk commissioning activities by conducting system surveillance, tuning and optimizing control systems and advising operations and maintenance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial control systems within the oil and gas industry.
- Expert knowledge of DCS, Triconex, CCC, PLCs and related technologies.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
