About the role

Advises and supports control systems engineering throughout EPC and startup phases, ensuring safety, operability, reliability and maintainability for QatarEnergy LNG projects.

Key responsibilities

Provide control systems engineering support including design reviews, studies, failure analysis and troubleshooting.
Develop and implement surveillance and administration programs for critical control systems to achieve high reliability, availability and cyber security.
Supervise contractors, consultants and service providers and guide less‑experienced engineers.
Support high‑risk commissioning activities by conducting system surveillance, tuning and optimizing control systems and advising operations and maintenance.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial control systems within the oil and gas industry.
Expert knowledge of DCS, Triconex, CCC, PLCs and related technologies.
Fluent written and spoken English.
