Denter and Painter – Bodyshop Technician

About the role

The Bodyshop team is looking for skilled professionals to perform dent removal and vehicle painting tasks. You will work on a variety of passenger and commercial vehicles, ensuring high‑quality repairs and finishes while adhering to safety and workshop standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute dent removal, panel replacement, straightening, and alignment according to Job Cards and OEM guidelines.
• Prepare surfaces, mask, prime, paint, and polish vehicles, achieving accurate colour matching and finish quality.
• Record time against Job Cards, report delays or issues, and obtain further assignments from the Workshop Controller.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment; support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical Certificate in Automotive Body Repair or Painting (preferred) with 2‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret Job Cards, work independently or as part of a team, and follow health, safety, and environmental policies.

Required skills

• Dent removal and panel beating techniques.
• Vehicle surface preparation, masking, priming, painting, and polishing.
• Colour matching and use of spray‑painting equipment.
• Familiarity with body repair tools, measuring systems, and workshop safety procedures.
