Department Manager – Retail

About the role

The Department Manager will lead a retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will ensure smooth store operations, uphold brand standards, and promote the company’s loyalty program.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of customer service and support staff in achieving sales targets.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, visual merchandising, and adherence to company policies.
• Take full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Promote and manage the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to increase repeat business.
• Audit store administration, resolve issues, and ensure security vigilance.
• Manage staff rosters, leave requests, and grievance handling.
• Stay updated on product ranges, fashion trends, and brand knowledge for effective suggestive selling.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards at all times.

Required profile

• Well‑groomed, fashion‑aware, and able to represent the brand positively.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to managers.
• Proactive attitude toward security, stock loss prevention, and store upkeep.
