Design Manager - Architecture

About the role

The Design Manager will lead the architectural design management for a ski resort project, ensuring all building designs comply with project specifications, functional needs, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design and management of 3B, 3C, IFC, 4A and 4B stages for each building unit.
• Coordinate external consultants, contractors and internal teams to deliver designs on schedule.
• Ensure designs meet sustainability, functionality, aesthetic and space‑use goals.
• Participate in schematic, detailed and construction drawing phases for seamless transition.
• Facilitate cross‑disciplinary coordination with MEP, structural, landscape and other disciplines.
• Communicate progress with project managers, NEOM, PMC and handle technical reviews.
• Support construction phase implementation and resolve on‑site design issues.
• Verify compliance with Saudi Arabian laws and international architectural standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of EPC design management experience, preferably in ski resort or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Proven leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience using project management tools.
