Design Review Engineer – Civil

About the role

We are seeking a senior Design Review Engineer specialized in civil infrastructure to join our team in Qatar for a 4‑month fixed‑term assignment, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on reviewing and approving designs for large pump stations and sewage treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate contractor and consultant submissions for compliance, constructability and quality.
• Coordinate design reviews with clients, authorities and stakeholders to secure timely approvals.
• Supervise construction activities and provide technical guidance on site.
• Manage multi‑disciplinary project coordination and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit approval documentation using the QDRS system.

Required profile

• Bilingual Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil infrastructure, including at least 7 years on large pump‑station or sewage projects.
• Proven expertise in design review, construction supervision and multi‑disciplinary coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar codes and standards (QCS, QHDM, QTM, WZTMG) and relevant international standards.
