DevOps Engineer

About the role

A leading Oil & Gas service company in Qatar is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support its technology infrastructure. The position is full time in Doha and calls for 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain DevOps and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm-based deployments.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Support Linux systems, networking and infrastructure operations.
• Write automation scripts in Python and Shell.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.
• Support GitOps workflows with Argo CD or Flux.
• Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure and scalable deployment environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and infrastructure management.
