Dual Property Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Dual Property Cost Controller to join our finance team at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Doha. The role ensures accurate financial recording, cost control and reporting across two properties, supporting the delivery of seamless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with company policies.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements according to company procedures.
• Follow all company policies, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Address guest service needs professionally and respond to communications with clear, courteous language.
• Lift, move or carry objects weighing up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related finance or accounting experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work in a hospitality environment and adhere to company standards.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with electronic spreadsheets.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal/ledger processes.
