eHealth Technology Systems and Solutions Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced eHealth Technology Systems and Solutions Expert to lead the technology direction, resource planning, architecture governance and cross‑vendor delivery for a national eHealth programme.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operation of national eHealth solutions.
• Plan resources, oversee architecture reviews, manage integration, service levels, risk and executive reporting.
• Assess existing systems, identify improvement opportunities and coordinate implementation or integration of clinical systems.

Required profile

• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 10 years in management or technology leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• Proven leadership of healthcare IT or national digital‑health programmes involving multiple systems, organisations and vendors.

Required skills

• Healthcare enterprise architecture and solution governance.
• National HIE, EMR/HIS, e‑prescribing, registries, identity, analytics and data‑platform knowledge.
• Integration engines, APIs, cloud, infrastructure and environment management.
• Information‑security policy, availability, confidentiality, integrity and SLA governance.
• Vendor and contract management, RFPs, technical evaluations and implementation assurance.
