EICA Engineer

About the role

EGIS is seeking an experienced EICA Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team dedicated to water and wastewater treatment projects. The role combines design oversight, documentation review and on‑site supervision to ensure that electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with architects, designers and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions that support the evolving needs of society.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive design reviews for electrical installations in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Review material submittals and method statements to verify alignment with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections, identify non‑conformities and coordinate corrective actions with the construction team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of hands‑on experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews and on‑site inspections.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering principles applied to water treatment infrastructure.
• In‑depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience with design review, material submittal assessment and method‑statement evaluation.
