Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist to lead employee relations matters, ensure labor law compliance, and support HR governance across our organization in Doha. The role involves managing disciplinary cases, employee grievances, policy administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, workplace disputes, and investigations.
• Advise managers on conduct matters and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all employee relations cases.
• Monitor labor law updates and assess their impact on HR policies and procedures.
• Support development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Promote ethical workplace practices, employee engagement, and a positive organizational culture.
• Oversee onboarding, induction, and employee exit processes, including resignations and terminations.
• Conduct compliance monitoring activities, support internal HR audits, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Compliance, or HR Operations.
• Proven track record handling disciplinary cases, employee grievances, and labor law matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employee relations and case management practices.
• Sound understanding of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience with HR policy development and governance.
• Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
