Energy Consultant

About the role

As an Energy Consultant at GHD you will develop technical and consulting expertise across a broad portfolio of energy projects, including electricity networks, renewable generation, battery storage and system integration. Working with experienced engineers and project managers you will support utilities, government bodies and major energy users throughout the lifecycle of their assets.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects covering electricity networks, renewable energy, energy storage and energy strategy.
• Support feasibility and options studies, engineering design and technical advisory assignments.
• Collect, review and analyse technical, operational and project information.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, calculations, specifications, equipment data and other technical documentation.
• Prepare clear technical inputs for reports, presentations and bid documents.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical judgement and a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
• Ability to develop analytical, project delivery and client‑engagement capabilities.
