Engineering Associate – Mason

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Associate specialized in masonry to join the facilities team at Rosewood Doha, a luxury hotel and residential destination in Qatar. The role supports the maintenance and upkeep of the property’s built environment, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with the duty engineer to prioritize and schedule masonry tasks.
• Review and update the engineering logbook for follow‑up jobs.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions.
• Communicate any delays or extended work times promptly to the Engineering Supervisor and Duty Engineer.
• Prepare and mix required construction materials for masonry work.

Required profile

• Relevant experience or training in masonry or construction maintenance.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders and documentation.
• Strong commitment to safety and use of PPE.
• Good communication skills to liaise with engineers and supervisors.
