Equity Analyst (Junior)

About the role

The Junior Equity Analyst will support the investment team by researching and evaluating equity opportunities across emerging markets, with a focus on the MENA region. This role combines rigorous financial analysis with regular interaction with portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop top‑down and stock‑specific investment theses for the Equity Team.
• Travel 2‑3 weeks per year to meet portfolio companies and source new deals.
• Maintain regular contact with invested companies to monitor performance.
• Keep the research database up‑to‑date, including notes, financial models, ESG scorecards, and market data.
• Assist with documentation and administrative processes required for client reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Humanities or related field; CFA progress is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of equity research experience, preferably in emerging markets or MENA.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
