About the role
Comfort Fire Systems is looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer with strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting and ACMV systems to join its team in Doha. The role covers preparing cost estimates and quotations for fire and mechanical ventilation systems.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and quotations for Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting and ACMV systems.
- Review tender documents, drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform material take-offs and quantity calculations.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with suppliers, project teams and clients on estimation requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, material costing and quotation preparation.
- Experience in the Qatar market is an advantage.
- Good communication, analytical and organizational skills.
